Kia ora from wellington!
I'm blogging from bed.....right after dinner with church ppl after d arise's christmas production :)
I finally understood why did He plan for this. Taking everything away, I finally have time to slow down, take a breather and enjoy the tiny things life has to offer. I guess this never happened in melbourne. Everyday is a schedule of to-dos, a rush from here to there.
It's time to put things into a slow motion and realise what is important. God and relationships with people.
Anyway, its almost Christmas and the Chrismassy season is in the air!! After spending two (gonna be) Christmases abroad, there's quite a difference between Christmas in Malaysia.
Christmas in Malaysia- go out with friends til late night to catch the fireworks and spray each other with those spray cans.
Christmas in Aussie/NZ - time for family, giving, spending the whole day at home eating *OMNOMS*, open houses.
I prefer the latter :) prolly that's because im growing old? :S
but....Christmas is the season where hearts are changed, wounds are healed and loneliness filled and that's the thing we shouldn't forget, the birth of Christ.
The production today was about how the world would be without Jesus and wow..its a pretty eye-opener. What else could I ask for? A great church, really nice colleagues, awesome new friends, and a really nice place to live! Thank you God, for You are soo soo good.
